7Wraps VIN number

Just thought I would pass along the VIN of a junkyard LC with the VIN for some coils. If you choose to call Toyota to get new ones, they will want a VIN number to identify which coils from which model. This number is coming from a 2WD Base model of which I have the coils coming to me already. I confirmed that these are available from Toyota with this VIN.

These should be the taller of the 7Wraps.

Happy lifting folks!

Toyota Part Number

Could you post the Toyota part number for the coils? That would help out a ton!

No such thing as a 2wd 80 series LC. (Well atleast it didn't leave the factory that way)

What are the color codes?

I may have misunderstood the man when I talked to him on the phone about the 2wd v. 4wd.
Both are the double pink, and appeared to be the same on both sides. So far as a Toyota part number, I have no clue. Just called the Toyota parts department at the local place, gave him the VIN, and he told me how much. Just to clarify, mine, are coming form a salvage yard, I just was able to get the VIN from the truck it came off.

I just got mine from a 94 and they were both double pink

One was a double pink, dark blue, white 8 wrap. The other was double pink, light blue, white 7.5 wrap. Probably what you have there.

The vin should help a lot of people that want new springs. Good work!

From what I understood, the double pink 8s are supposed to actually be purple? This guy was confident in that they were pink, guess i'll find out when they arrive in a couple days! LOL! I figured also, with the VIN, I can save that in my Evernote with everything else I am gathering, that I can replace them myself when funds are a little more expendable in the future, and if I ever get another Runner, I can get the same set up without having to do as much reserch all over again.
By the way, do you know if Tundra struts bolt right in to the Runner or if I have to modify anything?

I think its the same color but a different interpretation of that color. Some say its pink some say its purple but it actually looks more like what you would get mixing pink and purple together.

Since you say struts I'm thinking you're talking about the front correct? My tundra bilstein 5100s bolted right in using the 4runner top plates. They worked with stock springs as well.

The rear tunddo 5100s bolt in but you have to press out the rubber bushing. There is a Write up on how easy it is to do.

Tomato/ toemato... Lol! Your probably right on the interpretation, probably whatever the guy at the factory felt like mixing together that day!

Yea, I finally found the answer several pages into my search. So I gambled, and ordered the tundra rough country n2, talked with the guy at wheelers and said they would bolt right up. I'm gonna post a good right up on all the parts I gathered when they come in with pics, and where I got them for how much.
Thanks for all the help

I had been looking at the Nitro 9000 at wheelers, but called RC on a hunch, turns out the never made the Nitro for the Runner, so it was the Tundra one, plus, the N2 is what replaced the 9000. I had an issue with a set of tires that were no longer made, so made the choice to purchase the newest model. Guess it'll be a long weekend waiting for everything to get here....
