1: First off should the black cable ( - one) be connected to the battery? As of right now I have it connected to part of the frame
2: Next is fuse size from the battery to the inverter. As of right now I'm using a 125 amp fuse but the people I know keep saying it sounds like a lot
I used the 1,500 watts / 12v = to get too 125 amps
3: Ac to the outlet should I use a fuse there to? Was thinking about a GFCI for safety.
The story lol this inverter was ment for my 2009 4Runner but now the girlfriend drives it so I put it into Toyota matrix 2003 battery to inverter is about 10 - 15 feet using gauge 2 wire with 125 amp fuse next to the battery. Then for the AC plug I used gauge 14 wire going to the front of the car what goes to 3 outlets
I do plan on hitting 1,500 wetts lol
