85 4runner , amount of slave cylinder movement ?

hello when I push my clutch in the slave cylinder moves the clutch fork about a 1/2 inch , some times I can put it in first gear when stopped at light and other times I cant and I have to turn truck off and then put in gear . thanks . I also bought oem toyota clutch master and slave cylinders and also bleed them , and still having the same issues , oh I also replaced the shift lever ball seat and shift lever socket . thanks again for your time

How many miles on the clutch ?
Check the rubber hose part of the clutch line while someone pushes the pedal to make sure it's not expanding under pressure.

Also check the throw on your pedal. It may not be engaging it enough.

did you bench bleed the master cyl? I recently had to adjust the rod length at the fire wall on a 99 3.0 5 speed to get the clutch to full disengage after a clutch rebuild (pressure plate clutch plate, throw out, and master and slave. the pedal would have to be right on the floor hard to get the trans to stop.

thanks guys I just got in from changing the oil and oil filter and I put something in the cup of the slave cylinder to give it a little more travel and now it goes in gear better I think just a little more travel and I think it will be fine the push rod on the slave cylinder is almost 2 3/4 of an inch I need to get one prob 3 inches or so . anybody know where to get one ? oh I dont know how many miles are on the clutch I have only had the truck for almost 2 years
