87 4runner

So this is what is happening with my RED RUNNER. I got it road ready and mailed the title to FL to get it registered and the USPS lost the original title, my tax fee, pretty much everything to get it on the road legally. Well being they lost the title and it never transferred to my name i had to track down the "owner" and ask him to help me get a new title. After a few months i finally got him to help. Im going this saturday to get the forms filled out for a new title.

1st gens are too cool. I work with a guy who has a 2nd gen and I've had a third gen, now have a 4th gen. 1st gens have always had a special place in my heart though. I hope to take my children to car shows some day and see fully restored specimens on display

I finally got the title back and after driving it around a few days, i ended up with a little coolant in the engine. Now i have to replace the headgasket and while its open im gonna replace the timing chain and water pump.

That style is just iconic! My godfather had one when I was a kid. I remember riding around in it when I was 8. At the time I had no idea what it was but it always felt so cool to me.
