Well I finally had a chance to finish up the front end. I installed a 4.88 diff with a spartan locker, ome n98 shocks, and new cv axles. The new shocks make it ride like a dream! I still have to switch over tge auto hubs to manual. I am waiting on some parts to complete the overhaul on the manual hubs.

How it sits now with the 5" shackle and adjusted tbars. It rides like a dream with the ome n98 shocks!

Well I finally got around to switching over to manual hubs. I also started on removing the flake clear coat and paint. Apparently someone has painted it with out any prep work because the "good" spots just peal right off.

A good friend of mine owns a body shop so he will be shooting it but I will be doing all the prep work. He is going to cut out a few small rust spots and patch them

Any noticeable difference with the new steering damper on it? Also can't wait to see this thing with fresh paint eventually. Should look great!

Yeah the steering feels somewhat tighter with less play. I notice a greater improvement on dirt roads. Deffinately worth the money.

looks great so far! I had the same lift on my old 87 and I loved it! the Chevys flex so well, it was great.

Are those bj spacers cast or billet?
