I copied this from the problems section. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
So my buddy Dan has a 91 four runner that we've put a new 3.0 v6 in. He had a local shop do a bit of other work neither of which is the cause just a but of back story. He asked me to help him fig out why both windows on the driver side weren't working so we changed a few switches and got the back to work then started on the front. I pulled the computer to see if I can gain access to the wiring going into the door to check for a broken wire. Didn't find a broken wire but got the window working. Tried to start the rig and nothing but a starter solenoid click. Battery was a bit low so we charged it up and still nothing. Pulled the computer again and found the grey plug behind the computer was loose. Plugged it back in and started up. Now when we turn the key to the off position it wont shut off without disconnecting the grey plug? When the key is in the off position all the gauges shut off and sounds like the idle slightly drops. Seems like a broken wire so well pulled the harness thru the firewall and couldn't find one. Any ideas?
