91 toyota clutch problem

Hey there I just installed a luks performance clutch in my 91 Toyota pickup extended cab. Got everything all back together and clutch wont engage. When I try to start it in gear and engage the clutch it still rolls with the clutch depressed and kills the motor. Almost like it wont engage enough or disengage. Im at a loss, put a new slave on it bleed and bleed the mast and slave trying to make sure every drop of air is out of the lines. Still wont engage if motor is running and u depress the clutch and try to put it in gear. Although if u press hard up into first gear truck will slowly creep forward but will not go into gear. U try and go into reverse it just wants to grind. When pickups off goes in and out of gear just fine. Im baffled, and if anybody has any advice id be greatful I want my baby back on the rd.

I had this same problem when i bought my 91 4runner. Check your clutch peddle. Mine the bracket for the peddle was broken.

any chance the clutch disc got put in backwards?


how about the clutch rod? is it adjusted properly?
