Not really. I got a Smarty s67 and it puts down plenty of power. haha Although I will buy an edge insight to be able to monitor almost everything going on with the engine.

Im using an Insight on my Dmax. (I would recommend a cheap backup camera to go with it lol). My truck came with a Edge programmer that I sold to get EFI Live. I have one of the best EFI Live guys about 30 mins from my house. Although my buddies 03 cummins does really good with his smarty (that has been tuned by the EFI Live guy).

That's good to know. I'm pretty new to modifying diesels. Luckily I have source automotive 2.5 miles away from me. Best cummins guys around.

I know with the smarty, you can stack tunes. So I can have an efi live tune and piggy back it with a smarty tune. Kinda crazy. I feel like I will be buying a new clutch if I turn my tuner up at all. haha

Oh yeah, the cummins isn't seeing anything besides logging roads and pavement. The wheelbase is so long that it would be a joke offroad.

It was my fist time trying a triple black diamond run. Did pretty good considering I don't have a front locker or duals (yet!):bounce:
