92 vs 89 Donor

I have a 92 runner with an automatic transmission that is giving me trouble. I also have access to an 89 runner with a 5spd that I can get all the parts to swap over. My question is will all the hardware such as pedal assembly, slave and master cylinders, crossmemebrs work on my 92 ?

Yesish. There might be some minor firewall differences that would require a little creativity. Do both trucks have the same motor?

Yeah, if one's a 4 and the other's a 6, forget it.
IIRC x-members are a little different between auto and trans, but could be made to work.

Transfer changes

Both are 3.0 V-6 models. Will I need to change the ECM also ? I have access to all parts from both vehicles

If both are V6 then the bellhousings should match. You probably won't need to switch the ECM, but if you keep the auto ECM you will need to fool the neutral safety switch.

My main concern is will I be able to use the pedal assembly and all that stuff since my donor is a first gen and I'm putting this in a second gen. Other stuff to think about is also the cross member and drive shaft

I think your biggest problem is that the donor is the first gen instead of the other way around. Last time I checked the second gens top doesn't come off.

I don't see it that way... I've had this thing since it was new. I've got 298k on it and still going strong. I have done a lot of work over that past couple of years redoing stuff but what do you expect for a 22 year old vehicle. I wanted a 5spd when I got this one but could never find one. Now with the output shaft bearing going and other noises it's time to change.
