93 leaks

Hey I have a 93 with a 6cy; anybody know if antifreeze leaks are common or not? Seems to be coming from front of block maybe and drips off front of oil pan. Also when in the cab and you floor it the sound of liquid circulating comes through the heater vents. I bought it 6 months ago. Noticed the sound soon there after, but leak is recent. Around the time I noticed the leak it had started running real rough with little power. Any help would be much apprec.

mine was leaking around that area and i had to change the water pump and timing chain. but don't quote me lol get someone to check it out

Heard mention of a recall for head leaks on here. Any info on that?

yea there was a recall for head gaskets. you can look up your 4runner on the toyota website to see if it's been fixed or not. if not they'll do it for free.
