94 4runner swap to manual hubs

I have a 94 4runner and a 89 pickup. The frame on the pickup broke, i want to get rid of the ADD system and put in manual locking hubs from the truck onto the 4runner do i need to swap the whole axle assembly or just the hub and C.V. axles.

Someone else set me straight if I am wrong on this one, but you should just need to swap out the hubs. No need to swap the CV's.

I thought you also need to swap out the nuts inside the hubs for the axles?

The only thing you need to do is unbolt your drive flanges from the ADD and bolt on your manual hubs. Piece of cake. :wink2:

Some one correct me if Im wrong ( like I have to worry about that on the internet) but I believe you only have to change those if you are swapping form Auto hubs, not ADD.

I wasn't going to say anything because I've never had the misfortune of needing to convert from ADD or auto hubs, but I think you're right.

Yep ADD is simple swap you pull off the round piece on end of axle and put new manual hubs on. I can't find the YouTube video I watched that helped me a lot.
