So after owning a vehicle with manual nobs for a great deal of time I'm recently getting used to having power windows in this 4runner.
I put a floor mat in the cargo area, got back in the truck, tried to raise the window, nothing.. I hear a click coming from the back, but its stuck in the down position.
The key doesn't work on the tailgate, never has since i've had it.
I'm in Florida so I pull the thing into the garage, looked like rain. Pull out the meter and start troubleshooting. Tried the switches, seemed good.. Took the tailgate down, removed the panels and started fiddling with the wiring harnesses. Can't figure it out. Found a couple broken wires, fixed them and the dang thing still just WONT go up..
Its getting dark. I go to the drivers seat one last time to mess with the switches, dark, tinted windows, I try to roll them down.. Nothing..
The Window Lock button drivers side was down

4 hours i'll never get back - but at least it was never broken! LOL
