95 rear window question

I just picked up a 95 and I'm working through it to see how everything works. My question is are the rear window operation. I can put the key into the rear gate and get the window to go down, but to roll the window back up I have to go inside and use the switch in the center console. Should I be able the turn the key the opposite way in the gate and get the window to roll up?

It should go back up when u turn the key the other way.

I had that same problem. Took the lock cylinder out and went to a locksmith. He fixed it right up and I have a fully functional rear window again.

Is there a tear down guide to the rear window. Trying to install a back up camera but need access to where the window is to install the hardware. I was able to pull the 10-12 body pins holding the rear interior piece to the back tail gate however it seems as there is something holding it at the top where the weather stripping meets the plastic trim. Any ideas?

it's all just plastic push clips. one may have splayed out. try going sideways to separate the clip from the fiberboard.

the key in my 95 won't turn. i bought a 94 for parts. it won't turn either!
