95 T4R no power to front wheels

Hi guys, I have a 95 T4R and transfer case works but no drive power to front wheels- no light on dash to indicate I'm in 4wd - where should I start at trying to pinpoint the problem?

Your truck should be equipped with the ADD front end so I would begin with the wire and vacuum line connections.

X2 on the ADD.

are the wires on the xfer case and front end? and the vacuum lines on the firewall or inside fenders like I've read on the newer models?

Yes the wires go from passenger side up on top of the wheel well and down to the front of the transfer case. Then their is also a sensor on the front of it which switches it to 4wd.

Thanx, I'll check them out in the morning and let you know of results and where to go from there, I went on a hunting trail yesterday and found out for sure I wasn't pulling on the front end but transfer case does go in low range

Yep also is you dont see anything noticeable try switching the two tubes around.

The sensor on the front ADD unit "confirms" the ADD unit is in 4WD mode and completes the circuit to light the 4WD light on the dash.

Does the 4WD light on the dash illuminate? If it doesn't and you know (by "feel") that the t-case is in low, the ADD actuator is not locking the front axle, in which case the vacuum supply/lines/wiring/VSV's are suspect.
