'95 T4R running rough on starts

To start with, I replaced my plugs and wires about 20k miles ago. To the problem:

The temp outside has recently dropped here where I'm from (usually around 35 degs in the mornings), and now when I start my 4R, it has a really rough idle untill it gets warn. Then once I get on the road, it's fine. Later in the day w/ the temp around 50 deg outside, I start it after it's had time to cool down and it idles fine, but once I start going (under 10mph) it shakes until a few seconds pass and then it's good to go. Cound this be a plug/wire issue or fuel filter problem?

sorry, it's a 3.0 V6 Auto 4WD.

Did you have the same problem before you changed the plugs?

Could be as simple as them not being gapped right.


Did you check the Gap before putting the plugs in?

Well it turns out, it was my plugs.

I had bought the plugs URD sells, and installed them in Aug '04. Since then, it's been running great. Then all of a sudden it would run rough and start hesitating on initial starts. Then after it warmed up, it quit.

I went ahead and replaced the plugs using factory Toy. plugs, and now it runs like a dream. I can't believe the URD plugs went that quick. I had less than 10k miles on those plugs. Oh well, guess I learned my lesson.
