I just ordered one of these rear spoilers in Black for my 97 SR5 that never had one on it from the factory. I can't wait to have the rear window to remain cleaner more often.

I just ordered one of these rear spoilers in Black for my 97 SR5 that never had one on it from the factory. I can't wait to have the rear window to remain cleaner more often.

Would these actually make the rear cleaner? The normal spoiler makes sense for this as it directs air down over the rear window but this style seems like it would create a low pressure zone on the back that would suck more in. These look a lot like the 5th gen spoilers and I know those get a ton of stuff on their rears.

I have the Hilux one. It looks better for sure but you'll still get just as much dust and dirt on the back window. No more or less.
