97 4runner have ABS in the rear?

Hi all,

My abs lights just come on 1 day before my offroad trip tommorow.
I just replace 2 broken nuts lugs in the rear wheels.
The mechanic hit the old broken nuts out.

Once already the ABS lights come on.
So 4runner have a rear ABS also even with the drum brake?
Any idea why the lights come on?

There is a way to jump the diagnostic port beside the intake and count flashing ABS light for codes.

Hopefully the hammering didn't harm a speed sensor. Did he pull the axle to pound out the studs or do it with axle still in rear housing?

One sensor at each wheel. For the rear: Behind the drum, on the back of the axle. A wire runs from each one.

I have a MAC Mentor scanner and that scanner when you select ABS tells you which ports to jump out. I haven't found it anywhere else......I'll try and get it in the next day or two. The 97 and the scanner are at my mother in laws. Waiting for mondays wheel alignment then my wife will start driving it.

Above is a link......The TC and E1 jumpering is it. I just don't remember if I had to remove the shorting pin or not. try it removing it first

Code 33 is right rear and code 34 is left rear I believe.
