97 Stereo

I am trying to mate this wiring after seeing the the last owner had cut off one of the connectors. I am trying to match it with this diagram and not wanting to mess anything up. I have looked on line and diagrams and they do not indicate the wires that are the same color but have tick marks or solid lines. any help would be great

Ignore any tic marks or bands on the wires. Wire colors are for the main color and the stripe that goes the length of the wire.

So, White-Black is a white wire with a black tracer/line.

If you find an OEM diagram, the color abbreviations are as follows:
B = Black
L = Blue
R = Red
BR = Brown
LG = Light Green
V = Violet
G = Green
O = Orange
W = White
GR = Gray
P = Pink
Y = Yellow

There are no repeating colors on the radio harness (there are a few elsewhere, but no worries here).

Here is the schematic for your 97Runner. Looks like you already have the speaker wires identified with masking tape. Example, in your picture you have a black and yellow wire labeled (LR) with masking tape. The black wire is (RL+) and the yellow wire is (RL-) in the schematic. You'll have to cut off the other connector and match everything else up. Blue/yellow to battery(+), Gray to ignition(+), Brown to ground(-), etc.

White is already marked on your harness - it is for one of the speakers.

The only wire left I see is white-green, which is the "ground" return for illumination (which varies from near ground to near 12V, depending on dimmer setting). Regular green (not the light green use for one of the speakers) is the 12V high side for illumination, which is already connected.
