So I've notice whenever i have to get into the throttle,my truck smells horrible. :painkiller: Is my cat bad? Also noticed it seems underpowered and doggy and in the throttle more often. I do have a bad 02 sensor.

so your truck smells bad and you have a cat and a dog in the truck somewhere... well theres your issue, they have probably been fighting and crapped all over in the truck and pissed all over things, id clean out your truck and shampoo the carpets

check for any dead fish too, you might not know about them yet but i bet they would be smelling bad if they are there :yo:

You need to be more specific in describing the smell.

EX: Rotten eggs= bad battery

I assume if your O2 sensor is bad you might be running overly rich which would smell like excess fuel in exhaust. strong exhaust smell.

Pet deodorizer is perfect for that cat and dog smell. Dont let your doggy rub up on your seats when he is wet, that smell never comes out

Sweet Smell, burning coolant
Rubber smell, burning rubber :]

Yeah smells like Rotten eggs.. Thats really the only smell i can smell. And no it doesnt smell like cats n dogs, guess i should of reworded that..

I thought eggs was catalytic converter?

When I stomp on the pedal a bit, I get a good whiff of egg/exhausty odor,
but normal driving doesn't seem to produce it.

apparently you people have never had a bad battery or a battery explode, while yes a cat will smell when hot, its nothing to the smell of a blown battery. but i think the smell the OP is smelling is a bad cat

OP stop letting your pets play in your vehicle, its dangerous for them
