98 Supercharged on CL

Appears to be a good deal, if you’re willing to put in the time and elbow grease to sort it out. It needs a lot of love and the interior is not in th best of shape. To restore that will require more money and time, after you’ve sorted out the mechanical stuff. But if you’re looking for a project, $1,500 is not a bad price. Go even lower and see if seller bites.
 
Personally, I'd rather find a $3k-5k example with less miles. Not sure what you plan on using this for, but I wouldn't expect to get thousands of miles out of a stressed engine like this.

When you think about it the supercharger alone is probably worth that much after you rebuild it(if not more).. but yea that one needs a whole lotta love for sure.

Just keep in mind the cost involved with rebuilding it being it's the first gen version which is a bit more involved.
 
No reply back from seller yet. I’m thinking 1000$ and I might bite... My son has a 01 so maybe use some parts off this (supercharger) and part the rest out or something.

Saw this the other day when browsing my local craigslist (Daytona Beach). If I had the money and a place for it I would've snatched it up
 
I’m in the gulf coast and if this were nearby I’d have a hard time holding back. Take all the new shiny things off (and the SC of course) and sell the rest to the local yard for $500.

This looks like a steal. I doubt it's worth repairing. Transmission is probably going to shit soon too. My general rule for craigslist cars is that if it has a Flowmaster muffler, then somebody beat it to shit.
 
UPDATE! I have a tentative deal with the seller to purchase this for 1000$. Will be going to get it within the next week hopefully. Feel free to PM me on any parts you want off this...except the supercharger.. I most likely will be parting it out. Big stuff will need to be locally picked up. I’m in Palm Beach.
