99 4Runner - Running Board Ends

I just bought a 99 4Runner recently, and have some parts that need replacing on the passenger side running board. Through my various searches here and on parts websites I can not locate these specific parts. (Maybe I am searching in the wrong place or using the wrong name) The end caps I have found, but always in colored versions and I need plain black. The piece that connects the front of the running board with the flare I have not seen at all.

As you can see the incorrect one was put on by the previous owner as it does not match up with the flare.

This piece is ripped, which is why it needs to be replaced.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would just take the runningboards off. I took mine off of my 98 Limited and it looks a hell of a lot better.:yo:

I fully agree with you, but you can't just tell that to someone without trying to help!

I'm sorry man I don't know the part number on that. I do know that a lot of us pull them off as they make it look a little less beastly. I wish you luck on your hunt!

having the same problem with a 99 limited there seems to be 2 hights of end cap there is one about 4 ins high and one about 7 ins high i have 7in one and it is missing good luck finding it.

Unfortunately removing them is not an option at this point. Trying to avoid having to go to one of the dealerships as they are far, expensive and a pain to deal with.

I might have them. I pulled the running boards off my '97 and then I tried separating that end from the board to fill the void...didn't work out so I found the right mudflaps.
I'll look for the ends later today.

Thanks for the EBay stuff as I just need the passenger side pieces. Kinda my last resort there.

SoAZ4runner, I did try to help. I gave him another option. If you notice, he just joined the forum in February/2013 and probably hasn't thought of removing them as an option. It would definitely save him some money in the long run. When it is all said and done this is a forum and we can all make other suggestions without being called out. Just saying.
