99' has square fogs in bumper, but no way to operate them

Just purchased 99 4runner sr5.
It has the rectangular fogs but no way to operate them.
Do I need a new stalk?? Also, it has space for the circular fogs, but they are not installed.
If I install the circular fogs, how do I operate both of them?
Am I just missing the correct stalk???

The rectangular fogs are not stock and would have been added by a previous owner, so you may have to figure those out on your own. Provide some pics and you may get more help.

The SR5 was wired for the circular fogs. Look behind your bumper - Do you see an empty connector plug near where the circular fogs would go? If so, you're wired for them. Read through my thread below. It's pretty easy to add stock-like fogs in the stock location and add a new turn signal stalk with the fog switch on it.

The 99's didn't come with turn signals so blinking fogs were used instead. Start your truck, pull the fog strobe actuator (this is located where most cars have a blinker stalk) down until the blinking fog indicator lights up to tell you it has power. Only the driver side will illuminate. The blinking fogs are designed to light up only in the direction that you are looking.
Now get out and stand infront of your truck and bask in the satisfaction of having the only street legal truck with no turn signals......just those crazy square blinking fog lights.
