Rims look really clean. How did you paint them? Purchase a kit? Or just pick up cans of black and hit 'em?

Haha yep you got it, straight rattle can. I did a little wet sanding, primed them then used krylon semi flat black.. the best part is i only had time to paint the one side.. the other two are still stock lol. A solid 15 dollar mod

I totally should have..i had mine done at west coast alignment in east van. I heard awesome things about dales. Now I'm just deciding whether or not to replace the tie rods or just bring it to them and hope I don't need to replace them.. Any thoughts? I really want to put my next bundle of cash towards some 285/75/16 bf all terrains

if you take it to dales, theyr gonna check you whole front end for any play or worn parts. they wont align it if say you got bad TRE's or Ball joints. so either you do your tierods youreself(really easy) or buy the parts and bring it to them.

question. how much was the shipping when you got the toytec coils. interested in trying em out. i got OME.

I had them shipped to point Roberts so shipping was super cheap. I'm not sure what it costs to get to Canada sorry couldn't be more help. They're nice coils and cheap

Haha thanks! Ya I'm not going to lie the surface was pretty rough but I said @$&@ it and just painted over some engraved mud haha. Nothing would take it off.

Im planning on painting the door handles flat black but I don't know whether to tape off the car or spend the time removing the door panels and popping out the handles ..

Boredom got to me soooooo..

Okay so i know im not the first.. but i dont know if anyone has done a write up.. I saw some cool hardwired power inverters, but i decided i'd rather have a household outlet in the back (power computers, speakers when camping etc) rather than doing the inverter.. hiding it somewhere and having to find it when you want to plug in..

**DISCLAIMER : i know it is UGLY at the moment.. i am going to paint the hardware and trim back the molding so that its not so big and intrusive, any ideas?

Another thought would be to disassemble the inverter and hard wire it to the car. Then mount the inverters outlets and switch somewhere. That way there is no need for an external inverter or loose wires. Many members here have done it this way.

So i painted the outlet face.. it looks MUUUUCH better... in person. I also added a nice $6 shuvel i picked up while grocery shopping. I have been in several situations where i could have gone for a quick dig and your hands and feet just dont cut it.

**Any one have any ideas as to how i can safely mount my hi-lift on my fairly flimsy roof rack? Maybe this rack isn't capable of holding something of that weight..

ya! haha good eye, not too many places around the city so every once in a while i get my wheels dirty there. Hoping to do a trip up near chilliwack this weekend if i can wrangle up a second truck. Do you hit any trails locally?
