Hello all,
I am hoping somebody can assist me with choosing and installing (not literally installing) a new stereo system for my 99 Limited 4Runner- or Gunner, as it were.
Before I start let me give a disclaimer that I know absolutely nothing about car stereo systems. I can get around my home system, change a hard drive in my computer, replace a clutch, but I haven't got a clue about this stuff. Anyway, moving on.
Gunner has a stock cd/cassette, full bodied (if that's what you call it) stereo system. I am fine with the speaker arrangement, as I am not really looking for more sound. What I am looking for is a normal sized stereo, and a compartment box thingy that I can put underneath it. (because Gunner has terrible storage)
I don't need anything extremely fancy, but there are a few particulars. I want it to have XM Radio, Bluetooth, and of course an auxiliary jack.
Any help, or even a point in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated. I just don't know where to start.
Thanks,
Mac
