I have a 99 SR5 with about 160K miles. It has run great but over the last couple of months I have had intermittent issues with it starting right away.
When turning the key all of the accessories will turn on but occasionally when I turn the key to start the engine nothing happens. There's no clicking sounds or any thing that I would expect to hear if the battery was drained. I usually turn the key completely to the left before trying again and then it usually starts by the 2nd or 3rd time.
This is very intermittent as the car starts and drives with no issues for weeks on end before this will happen again.
Any thoughts?
