Never been a car guy until a few summers ago (fly rods and mountain bikes are way more fun, or so I thought!). My family has been a Toyota family since the beginning, and last summer I got rid of my 2001 Grand Cherokee Limited for a '99 4runner SR5, manual with 160,000 miles for $4,000. Pretty stoked to find this!
Immediately found myself shoulder deep in the interwebs researching! Picked up some LC 8 wraps and Tundra coils to replace the OEM suspension, and spent way too much time banging around underneath installing it all. I definitely learned a few things! The LC coils took awhile to settle, but it looks great now. The ride is a little rough, but it holds weight fantastic, and hits the big bumps great!
I'm excited for this cold Montana weather to piss off so I can continue bashing my knuckles on the bottom of my runner!
