A 92 vs. a 95?

I would love to have opinions on any differences between a 92 and a 95. I wrote in another thread about tranny problems, and its looking like I've got a good lead on a 95 for another trans. However, there may be a bunch of good parts on it besides the tranny. I'm wondering... How well do they interchange? Both are 3.0 auto's.

Parts are all the same, same generation of truck, some of the engine wiring harness plugs may have changed.. alt comes to mind, but I down think much else. timing chain tensioner is different, but that doesnt really matter.

Take all you can get from the '95, and then some. I've had a '92 Medalist, '93 regular SR5, and a '94 limited. I regret not taking plenty of important spare parts while the '93 and '94 were totaled and being parted out. Control arms, Driveline's, steering components, ect. Never know what will go to s**t on ya. Might as well take advantage of what ya can!

If I hadn't already done the work I've done on the 92, I'd just keep the 95 and part out the 92. I'll have to see why the 95 is sitting. And if swapping the transmission/transfers is with it or not. Thanks for the info!!
