A/C Blower motor replacement

I'm having the usual blower motor outage. It's running again but is making a ticking noise. Checking online I found the motor on several sites for around $85. Is it so difficult to change that the dealer is justified in charging $550??

Has anyone changed it out themselves without much hassle?? Thanks

Did you look under the cabin filter? Leaves or something else might be stuck under the filter. I see it all the time at work. People think their blower is bad because its ticking but it always turns out to be junk feel past the cabin filter. Just make sure to turn the fan all the way off as you check.
