A/C Delay

I notice that there is a 30+ second delay when you start the 4runner before the A/C starts. Is there a way to change the delay to lower the delayed time? My Sequoia did not have a lengthy delay.

What year 4Runner? Are you talking about cold air or the compressor clutch engaging? My '04 seems to run pretty much when the vehicle is turned on.
