A/C High/Low PSI cutoff

According to the FSM the values for the pressure switch located on the High Pressure Line of the HVAC system are as follows.

Abnormal refrigerant pressure:
Below 196 kPa (2.0 kgf/cm 2 , 28 psi)
Over 3,140 kPa (32.0 kgf/cm 2 , 455 psi)

If the pressure is over or under the listed values above, the HVAC system will set a DTC "23" and cause the A/C Amplifier to turn off the compressor.

"Standard" Operating range on the High Pressure Side is:
1.37 to 1.57 MPa (13.9 to 16.0 kgf/ cm 2 , 198 to 228 psi)

There is only one HVAC Pressure sensor located on the High Pressure Line on the passenger side of the A/C Condenser at the front of the vehicle.
