A/C issue intermittent

2017 4Runner here. The issue started over the winter intermittently. Heat worked fine for a bit, then took a vacation for a day or 2, then back to working again. I had no time to take it anywhere due work. Then, just as I was about to go in with summer approaching, voila. A/c works just fine, and it kept working all summer until now. Same start/stop issue. Does anyone have any ideas on what it can be before i take it in? I'm thinking it's the control assembly for the climate control. I appreciate any help guys. Thanks.

No flashing light. A/c and heat both work fine sometimes. It'll blow on full perfectly fine on one car ride. Then not work at all on a different car ride.

I had a similar issue with the AC intermittently working. My issue was that my belt chewed through a hose and when i replaced it I did not add enough refrigerant back in. It was just below the minimum threshold causing it to see low pressure when it got cooler out which triggered a safety in certain temps and the compressor would stop running(pressure was affected by temps). My heat still worked fine though. If you are having both heat and AC issues it most likely is the control panel or the temp sensor.
