A/C issues, first post

Hello all! My name is Cruz, and just recently purchased a 3rd gen T4R. I've owned plenty of rigs in the past, but first time Toyota owner. I work at a shop where we build off road compnents, mainly for race trucks, but we also produce lots if bolt on stuff as well. We race the only Toyota in Trophy Truck, and are the 2014 S.N.O.R.E. Unlimited Truck Champions, Team Psychotic/ODRMSE

Anyway, just recently bought an SR5, 5Sp, 4x4, 3.4. It has high milage, but I bought it from the original owner who was a service writer at a toyota dealership. It needed a few odds and ends (plugs, wires, filters, fluids), but now I have moved on to the AC system, which seemed to work when I bought it, but now doesn't.
Compressor cycles, refilled R134a (3 12oz cans) with gauges. High side 170 psi, low was -20psi? But the thing still blows warm. Everything seems to be in working condition with no leaks, and am now stumped. Any words of advice would be great.

Was the system evacuated and leak tested ?
Make sure the flapper doors in the ductwork are moving to divert air through the AC section.

System was pressure tested, heater core blend door was tested and in working condition. Stumped.

You mentioned you used 3X 12oz cans of refrigerant. The spec for my '99 is .6kg-.7kg (21.2oz-24.7oz). Check to see if it is over-charged.

I thought this myself, but then the low side kept showing a vacuum. Normally this means there isn't enough refrigerant. I guess I can pull some out to factory spec and see what happens.
