a/c light blinking

when the a/c is on, it will be blowing cold, then it will start blowing warm air and when I look down the a/c light is blinking.
Does it just need for the freon to be recharged?

I had the same issue and found the solution in this tread. There is a link on page 8 to a cheap replacement relay.

I would check the relay first, they are notorious for failing; after that I would do a pressure test.

I have to post this. One guy said his wifes a/c went out (same symptoms, blinking a/c light and warm air) he took of the relay and banged it on a hard surface and it worked.

Soooo, if course I had to try this and IT WORKED! I still ordered the $14 part from Rockauto, but I have a/c until it goes out again!!!
