I still haven't gained any real answers as to my noisy AC. It worked and sounded good until i took it into the shop when it blew hot in the driver and cold on the passenger. The Repair place (completely inept) replaced my evaporator core, and it blew cold, but they had to buy me a new dash because they had cut it up and had not properly installed all of the other interior components. There was, however, a hissing noise at regular intervals of around 8 seconds that lasted for like 3 seconds. The mechanic said it was freon entering the AC system, but I wasn't too sure because he was so inept at other more basic procedures. He installed ANOTHER evaporator core just to be safe, and now the hiss remains WITH an annoying squeal to boot. It's driving me insane, but I do not want that SOB inside my car again after how bad he effed it up cosmetics wise. What should I do!!! It's driving me crazy, any help would be greatly appreciated!!
