A/C noise

Hi,
Took the car for a first ride after it being on Jack stands for a few days (could not find time to install bell cranks, finally did)..
Here's the problem:
When increasing the cabin fan to higher than '1' , a loud noise comes out from under the glove box, please see picture for the source of the noise.
The noise is a 'motor' type of noise, but sounds like a fan that has something interrupting it, or just a small engine going bad.
The noise increases as the level of the fan is increased to '3', and in level '4' I can feel the strength of the vibration when my foot is on the gas pedal.
Any advice would be appreciated, in case you encountered this issue before.

Yeah that's the fan motor. There are 3 screws and an electrical clip holding it there.

Remove the clip and screws and the fan and motor should fall out.

It helps to pull the kick panel to remove the third screw in the very back. I believe they are 8mm or a Phillips head. It's been a while since I've cleaned mine.
Just pull it apart and check. I've had leaves stuck in my fan before.

just as I was trying to clear up time to do my wife's ride's brakes.. I sure hope it's a quick fix..
I think I saw the three screws you're talking about, I'll try to get to the back one with one of those flexible driver extensions, hopefully it'll be sufficient. My fear is that nothing is damaged there.. I've had serious vibrations throughout the vehicle since my bell crank stuck/drum+shoes stuck together and I sure hope this is not the start of an aftermath of driving around with those serious vibrations.

No it's a pretty simple process. Don't worry about it. Just pull it all apart and see what's inside

I took out the fan motor, it was clogged with paper towel shreds and leaves, cleaned and vacuumed it, screwed it back and the fan is back to sounding like it should, nice and quiet.
