A/C Problem. Temperature won't adjust.

On Friday I took apart my dash and disconnected the AC switch. Now the A/C only gets cold when the setting is on Lo. If it's on any sort of temperature setting like 65 degrees it blows hot air. Has anyone experienced this? Is the switch broken?

i think cluster of switches actually have some intelligence built in. In others, they are not just simple switches. I would remove it again, wait a minute or so, then try connecting it again and see what happens. Hopefully this will reset it.

Ill try that. Maybe I'll try disconnect power on the truck and see what happens.

Sounds like you forgot to connect the temperature sensor vent.. it is on the lower right part of the dash .. close to the driver right knee. I would check that first.

+1 Check that first. Should have an electrical connector and tube.

I had this happen last week. I had forgot to plug in the sensor.
