A/C & Trip Computer Display Issue

I have a 2005 and I seem to be having an issue with the A/C & Trip Computer Display. When my headlights are on at night sometimes the left side of the display is dimmer than the right. Sometimes its not. Is this a bulb that is user replaceable or do you need a new display.

My truck is still under warranty, but I've wired in my Ipod and XM Radio and I don't really like the idea of a dealership tearing apart my truck.

I have the same thing on my 2003. Never talked to the dealer about it though. Let me know how it goes.

I also noticed this on my truck about a month or two ago. The right half of my display flickers when the parking light is on (dimmed mode). I haven't noticed it flickering when the parking lights are off. My truck is less than six months old, so I'll just wait a bit before I let the stealership tear apart my new truck.

so I might attempt to fix it if it becomes worse, but I'd rather not let the dealership mess anything up trying to fix it so I've left it alone for now.

Mine had the infamous flicker too.

So the last post in the other thread says bulbs. Thats good, bulbs I like because I can replace them. I was worried I had a defective display.

My personal guess by reading the other post is simply that the one bulb may be loose.
