Hmm, they are a pain in the ass. What kind of socket are you using? Sometimes we use a wrench (22mm if I remember right?), though usually we cut the pig tail if we can't get the connector through the hole in the wrench. Not sure I'd advise that if you're not sure it'll come out.

Ok ya if I can't get it n the morning will def cut that mofo , so I can get a reg. socket on it or wrench Thanks BWInc as always nice simple answer . Let it soak a little tonite n PB

I fought with my dads for idk how long, and stabbed my arm trying to make a "franken wrench". Ended up snapping the actual sensor off the part with the nut on it, and that allowed me just enough room to fit an oxygen sensor wrench on. Hit the handle a few times with a hammer and it popped right off.

my a/f sensor

just came off with a regular wrench, nothing special, just a little extra umpp of a pull or try cheating on it a bit. Don't put it on so tight, just normal snuggness required....

^ Eh lil dif on 05 , that beatch is down behind a lot of stuff ,if you can turn a wrench a qt inch & bust it loose come on down ! I'll get it like BWInc said I'll cut the plug wire 1st .

Suckcess ! Went to sears & bought open-ended 22mm wrench , just barely enough room to get it on . Managed to get about an inch of torque with my skinnyass & busted it loose . Then had to push it over to other side to get at the clip , dang , scrapped my arm up pretty good lotta sharp edges n there too ! Now we wait till it goes off again & do the anti spark plug fouler route .

This is on my list of things over the next few weeks. I've snapped one off on wife's van, hoping for better luck on this one. Thanks for the details.
