A few questions from a NOOB

First, I wanted to thank the collective knowledge on this forum as it helped me find my TE and saved me at least a grand on the 8 year extended warranty. Unfortunately I'm not exaggerating about that. My stealer wanted 2500!!!!!

Questions: I was about to pull the trigger on a toytec ultimate lift and I see many of you are going to Icon Stage 1. What are the differences? I'm looking for good road handling as well as off road capability which is obvious and adjustability for when I add a bumper/winch/sliders in the future. I also would prefer a system that requires no to minimum maintenance.

Second - I noticed that my stock antenna keeps loosening (as in every few days). Anyone else have this problem? Possible fixes other than blue locktite?

Third - for those of you that put on a 3 inch lift and 285s - what's the aggregate height increase I can expect? Trying to figure out if I will still fit in the garage:biggrin2:

Fourth - what's going on with Bud? I've been trying to get in touch with him to order sliders/winch mount and am having a tough time.

Lastly and most important- anyone here have a lifted black (trail i believe) that was driving around Boulder, Co Saturday March 17?

Welcome to the board!

1) I choose ICON based on reputation, smooth ride, guarantee. They are more $$$ but I think worth it in the long run.
2) I'd give it a try.
3) I'm going with a 2" rear lift and 285s but it's not here yet so...
4) Bud's been sick, look for a thread about contacting him for details.
5) There are a LOT of T4Rs in and around Boulder. Every time I'm out I see at least 10-20 and wonder if any of them belong to someone here.

Thanks GrantK. I hope it's not serious with Bud. Well - if you see a black TE in or around the boulder trailheads or passing through heading up for some wheeling - it may be me....
