Jmildoc and I took a little time off work today to head down to the spot he had found a few months ago. Figured we'd only have a few more nice days, better take advantage of them.
We had been before, and knew there were more trails, but were blocked. We took some time to clear the path, and ended up finding about 2 miles of trails. A lot of the leaves had fallen and were covering the trail, so we took our time making sure not to run anything over. I tried to take some pics, didn't get too many though.
The trail ended at the water. It was pretty neat out there...nice and calm, leaves were all colored up. We walked down to the water, and his kids threw rocks into the water for about 10 minutes.
And an after shot i took today...
About halfway up, there was a naked hippy and his wife who had set up a tent on the trail. Don't know how long they'd been there, but they were shocked to see us!
I made sure to honk the horn on the way back.
