Sacrilege!

With a beauty like yours, I am surprised you don't opt for one of the other vehicles in your fleet. I know I will be running my 3rd gen this messy weekend while the 4th is high and dry in the garage.

I'm so glad we don't have to deal with that down here. All the salt and cinders and what not they throw down up there would drive me insane. At least here when it snows everyone freaks out, they shut down all the roads, and throw sand everywhere for whatever reason...

its hardly gets above freezing here in the winters for at least 5 months of the year. so you have to do what ever it takes to keep the truck from rusting out.

You learn the tricks of washing your vehicle at the self serve power wash stations pretty quick when its hovering around 20 deg.

Its amazing your spray the water on it freezes then go over it again it flakes off then freezes again. let the truck sit in the sun for a bit as it starts to melt then wipe the main water off with a cloth.

Then spring come around and your sanding painting and washing the undercarriage getting ready for another winter.

Yea. It always happens after you detail the heck of it and was 10 min from home and snow came outta nowhere :) I will say the LTX MS/2's are awesome. Great tire in wet.

I can't wait for spring.

I can't stand the salt they put on the roads. It makes me want to run to those self serve pressure washers.

Don't you have one of the cleaner 3rd gens around?

Don't complain about that, I see some 4runner under that. Come back when you can't see the color of your paint anymore...

I'm serious about that, mine will get to the point that I can't see the green below the windows... I've been driving thinking the road was covered in snow only to find out there was no snow...

NY Salt, it was only a dusting of show but I had to drive home from work through 38 miles of salt. :lightsaber:

I don't waste my time detailing during the winter but bring it to the car wash once a week. I wax it once in May & again in Sept.
Salt off...

Ain't no different here in NJ, moment I saw the trucks laying salt. I went to home depot got wd-40, went crazy under the car. I do have a gallon of fluid film. Haven't had a good clean day to wash the truck and spray fluid film. I'm sure it would stick little longer then wd-40. But at least I know wd-40 will protect for little.

I've been using fogging oil from Walmart.
