Not any time soon. Which way are you driving when you head to Washington?
Probably north but haven't looked that far into it yet. I need to take the shortest route so I don't think I'll be able to swing by.

I was told the front axle is from an '83 Yota. As far as I know, the birfields and shafts are OEM.

It's a 1st Gen bumper--the dimensions are similar, and the price was right.

Not that I've ever driven from CoS to Seattle, but I bet I80 is quicker than I25 into Montana.
If you come anywhere near though lemme know, maybe we can work something out. I don't mind driving a bit to meet ya.

Sorry to hear of ur loss. I'm kinda in the same predicament, my wife likes camping and trail riding, but when it comes to the more hardcore stuff, having the sh!t scared outta her isn't her idea of fun. I hear scrapbooking is loads of fun...:ballchain:

I see what you are trying to do, and im glad there are people out there who actually care about what their woman feels about spare time. For the record, I like to keep certain hobbies "mine". I like to shoot, but not with her. Every now and then its o.k. but shooting is like meditation to me and precision takes concentration and lets face it when they are around its always a time issue or some sort of problem like eating (men can eat and do other things at the same time it doesnt need to take up half of a range day). I only have 1 snowmobile and its a 1 up. I dont like to go trail riding in the runner with her and the kids for the same reason.
Im not saying I never spend time with her and our kids, I just make sure I have MY things that get me away from the normalcy of everyday life. Of course I get shit for it but I would never change that, its who I am not who she wants me to be. I think being dragged around to malls, her friends social events and kiddy parties and god damn whatever she tells me im going to do every day of my life entitles me to self time.
Im not saying I never spend time with her and our kids, I just make sure I have MY things that get me away from the normalcy of everyday life. I 100% agree, my wife does her girls nights and I hunt every chance I get. We trail ride and take the quads out together but I don't want anything to do with her friends and she doesn't much care for packing out dead critters.

too bad you couldnt keep it. my girl goes on just about all my wheeling trips but im also in to quads but she doesnt wanna learn to ride yet she still comes to to beach with me. i was looking into getting a Arctic Cat Wildcat, you should look into side by sides. i seen guys with 32s rock crawling these things. they are good for other things too.

Homeboy u need to nip this tish in the bud! Ur not even married yet and she's already trying to change u. Absolute Yota is dead on about keeping things separate. U wouldn't dream of asking her to discontinue something she loves. They fall in love with who we are(so they say) then set out to 'improve' us. My wife knows I love 4Xing. She even likes to go along sometimes. She doesn't care if I 'beat up my truck', it's my truck. It ain't going anywhere. As my wife likes to say; ' the tighter the leash, the more the dog wants to run'. BTW Ive been happily married for 21 years...
Let me at least say this: I'm not whipped, my wife did not ask me to get rid of my toy nor would she ever ask me to do so. I still have my own things, I like to go shooting and that's something that I do on my own. I still work in my garage, i am starting another stereo project on my truck soon. I chose to get rid of my toy on my own so that I can do more with my wife. A chunk of our spare money went into off roading and I felt guilty after doing that for so long. It was time for me to start paying more attention to my wife and (god help the world) possibly start polluting the world with some offspring in the near future. My wife and I never really had anything that we could do together aside from hang out at the house and watch tv. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it's not very productive. We can now go find some atv's and have fun in the mountains still and will be more mutually beneficial than me going into the mountains on my own.
