A single click sound after shifting to drive and accelerating

When I shift to park and let off the brake I can hear and feel the gear shift click. I only use the parking brake when parking on slopes. It makes the sound almost every time regardless of parking brake. Is this something to be concerned about?

I have 2016 LTE and I have been getting this click sound from day one. I checked with a Toyota technician and he said it's nothing to worry about.

Mine is a 2016 SR5 premium. I was thinking of asking the dealer also. I guess I will have to live with it. Its not that bad I just thought it was odd that a brand new car make those sounds. Other than that I have no complaints, I am really diggin this truck. [emoji41]

Normal, it is abs. Makes the same type sound when using crawl control, etc.

I love this place. Had my 2017 for a few weeks and was noticing the same click. I narrowed it down exactly as is described in the thread before I even tried searching for the answer here. I was going to ask the dealer the next time I had the car in, but was somewhat worried they'd start tearing things apart.

I have had it happen on my 2015 since new.
