Did a drain and fill on my tranny this afternoon. I referred to the write up on the Tacoma Forum for getting into temp check mode. Has anyone with a
4Runner does this and had a different experience with the check mode? After 4 shifts from N-D-N, The "A/T Temp" light comes on steady for me instead of blinking. I put it into P and it goes steady again right away, like it is ready to check. However, I don't think the fluid was 115 degrees because I went to pull the check plug and it was just warm and the engine was cool. I left the car running for 20 min and the A/T Temp light just stayed on. It never flashed indicating that it was too hot to check. Any thoughts?
