I have been thinking about that for a couple of months now.... I have a friend that is willing to do it for $200...but I am going to get new black rims soon ( about 3 more months). So why spend those 200 bucks? + Isn't it easier to sell your stock without blacking them out?
 
probably is but if u do a really good job someone would pay more for yours then for regular ones not painted
 
Got a silver SE and have been wanting to do similar. Everything but the bumper was what I was considering. Wish we could see yours without the bug deflector on. Way to push the envelope. My inspiration for doing it was the new evo. See the potential resemblance?

Believe me ....I tought about removing the bugshield....cuz I also think that it will look a bit like the new 2010 TE but dang...the scratches and rock chips ...I started getting visible ones a few months ago...so decided to buy one to protect the hood. I may remove it this weekend just to take some pics and see how it look.

And yeah..The evo is one of my fave rides.... I also like the new Kia Forte looks a little like the Mitsubishi

That looks mean!!! I'm rockin' pretty much the same setup, but I opted to keep the emblems silver.

If you are interested in the bug shield, I'm thinkin 60 shipped. I jacked up the emblem on my paintjob, and my new one comes tomorrow. After I mount my new(used) grill tomorrow, and make sure everything fits and I like it, I'll decide whether I want to sell it.

And I'll def post pics too.

Hey...honestly I just can't wait until I get my new black rims....and I am going bigger too...and getting a lift also!

Yes...as soon as he turns 16..he just turned 14 in july...until then.... I am enjoying my ride and pampering her... is not his yet...lol....+ there are some conditions for that to happen...He needs to have good grades and keep up with school. If he don't follow the requirements...guess what?...he is getting "NADA"..
 
ha well if he can do that he's super lucky cause you are doing all the hard and expensive work to it and getting a lift and wheels!! i wish my dad did that before i got it but i had to do everything. mine came stock ha. what will u drive then?????

Well..that is going to be in the summer of 2011...so if everything goes fine by then.... more than likely I will be getting a 5th gen TE and by the time I finish paying for that new TE my other son is going to be 17 and then I will give that one to him of course if he deserves it and then get me my dream car...

that beamer is bad ass!! sometimes i go out to the BMW plant to look at the show models and watch em test the 6 series on the track. its awesome

Sorry but the pics above with the gold 4runner and the black wheels are for another member . That is not my ride...I havent paint my rims because I am getting new ones soon. But you can do a search and find lots of info from members that have done it .
