AAMCO Experience

Took vehicle to AAMCO to get my valves adjusted, they indicated it would not be a problem should be a 5 hr job. Made appt to have it done, on the day of the service the car was there before 8 am and was needed should have been out by 1pm or so. At 1:15 pm or just after I get a call from the AAMCO shop in Gilbert AZ tell me they can not complete the job or even start it because they broke their tool and could neither replace it or borrow it due to the limited shops they do business with despite the name AAMCO. In a nut shell I was told I could pick up the vehicle, they would not charge me(big suprise since no work was actally done and none completed) and they would not be able to complete for about 1 1/2 before "their" snap-on guy comes back to replace this tool. Well obviously it needed to be done so I had to take it to another shop which I got to pay to have it towed to. Sorry for the novel, but beware when using this shop/chain, also they are not even part of the better business bureau.
