Does everyone have FB? We can start a group chat to stay in contact easier as we approach the date.
I'll have multiple tow straps, a whole slew of tools, hi-lift jack, fire ext., and a portable compressor. I carry a ton of tools and such when I ride my quad, so I'll probably just throw it all in the truck. Oh, and if anyone has spare parts for common breakage areas (tie rods / tie rod ends, CV boots, u-joints, etc.), bring what you got.

I'll be leaving from NE Phila so we could probably head up together.
Getting there. Need to work out a few things on the truck before the trip rolls around or...eh, screw it, maybe I'll let them slide and see what happens. Nothing catastrophic, just a few minor annoyances.
I've put probably 2k miles on the truck since buying it in early Jan and things seem to be going well. Was just out in the Poconos this weekend with it so will be doing almost the same drive to AOAA in a couple weeks. Really looking forward to it.
How's everyone else doing?

This is going to be the first trip with the new suspension/tires. So I am curious how the truck is going to handle.

I try to stay away as much as I can actually. HAHA!
So what do we think about this upcoming trip in light of the snow? I've done some snow wheeling on my quad and it gets real old, real fast. Any idea how much snow they got out in the Shamokin area? Would hate to have everything planned only to get out there and be really limited as to what we can do.

I have a reservation for training with Offroad Consulting at AOAA on 4/1. We have a small group. I have trained before on Hummers and BMW X5s, but I've only been offroad on my new '16 4Runner Trail a handful of times. Want to really learn more of what it can do, especially with the new wheels and KO2s I'm getting tomorrow. Happy to report back after.
As an aside, Centralia, PA is only about 20 minutes away and seems worth the visit. It has been a ghost town for decades due to the mines burning below.

I'll try to remember my GoPro and get some footage of the more interesting spots.
Can anyone confirm the trails are in decent shape for next Saturday? Again, don't want to make the trip if there's deep snow covering everything. Off-roading is fun, shoveling snow out from under the trucks to get them un-stuck is not...

Ever thought about picking up the phone and dialing the phone number listed on the their webpage? If that doesn't work you could look at a snow-depth map from NOAA.
