Can I put 2010 to 2013 Trail edition front grill, headlights, fog light, and front bumper to 2014 TE? The 2014 front end is just...not my taste..

No, the sections under the headlamps are different and would require custom filler plates, I suspect you would have to have an entire new bumper skin molded to fit properly.

You MAY be able to swap EVERYTHING on a '10-'13 front end to a '14, but I would have to look at both more closely and we don't get many '14 4Runners for service yet.

I do intend to swap everything in the front. That's disappointing...i was hoping a straight complete swap.. you say the section under headlamps are different do you mean the mounting brackets inside the hood or just on the bumper where eyes can see? Thank you for the reply

The headlamps are a different shape than the earlier ones, the bumper skin is shaped and cut differently, to make it work you'd have to swap the old headlamps also or modify the older bumper skin.

Its about the same deal as trying to fit a '03-'05 front end on a '06-'09; same generation and sheetmetal, different plastic.

Yea, that's exactly what I want to do, I'm sorry I didnt make my question clear. I just wonder if the mounting brackets or the metal frame behind the bumper, headlamp and grill are the same so I can just swap out the front end completely to make it look like 2013 model.

if what BlackWorksInc saying is true, then yes it should all bolt up properly.

It would probably be more cost effective to just get an ARB or something similar. Parts for the 4Runner are not cheap and will most likely end up costing way over the $1k it would take to get a super beefy bumper.

Why not just buy a 2010 - 2013 instead? Silly to spend all that money, time and grief fitting 5th gen parts to a 5.5-gen just to get what? The different interior? Most everything else is the same. And who's going to want a 5.25-gen when you're ready to sell?

Old thread but I'm in the same boat but reversed. I'd love to swap a '14 and later front end on my 2010.
