I have done a search and it seems there are things all over the board so I thought I'd start a new thread. So whenever my AC is on, sometimes when I'm at an idle I can feel a very distinct vibration in the pedals and a noise. It almost sounds like a pulley vibration. If I turn the AC off while it is doing it, it stops. While driving it doesn't do it as the engine speed/torque I'm sure is making whatever is vibrating balance out a tad from faster rotation. So I know it's something related to the AC being on. Could it be the clutch? The pulley? Another pulley taking a load once the AC turns on and the clutch is engaged on the AC compressor? I also noticed on a trip down to SoCal over the 4th, a couple of times my AC would be on low and all of a sudden it would blow like it's on high for a minute or so. Then go back to regular. Thoughts? If it's easier to just swap the whole compressor I'll do that. I'm at 175k so I don't mind spending extra and not band aiding it. Just wondering if someone else has had that vibration issue and what was done to fix it. Thanks!
