AC Compressor Operation

Please settle a question between my wife and I.

I have the "manual air conditioning system" in my t4r.

If I have the AC on (A/C light on and "TEMP" knob turned fully counterclockwise) does the compressor run all the time?

If I adjust the "TEMP" knob clockwise to change the air temperature, does the compressor cycle or does the system just mix in inside or outside air (depending upon recirc button setting) to change the air temp?

Thanks

I guess my question is if i turn the "temp" knob clockwise does the compressor run less or does the system just mix in air to raise the vent temperature?

The cycling of the compressor varies with temperature. It runs multiple shorter cycles when you turn the temperature warmer, longer less frequent cycles when you turn the temperature colder. That's how the temperature is regulated, not by mixing in outside air.
